As a preschool teacher, I’ve always believed in the magic of art. For me, art isn't just about making something beautiful—it's about self-expression, creativity, and the joy of discovery. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how young children light up when they get to explore different art tools and techniques. Whether it’s dipping a brush into paint for the first time, piecing together a craft, or simply appreciating the beauty around them, art gives children a voice without words.

But it's more than that. Art is a freedom, a way for children (and all of us) to express feelings, ideas, and imagination. And it’s not just about finger painting or cutting and gluing paper. I believe that children should also become familiar with the historic artists who have influenced modern art. Names like Van Gogh, Kahlo, and Matisse are more than figures in textbooks—they're creative spirits that inspire the next generation.

That’s what led me to create ArtVentures, a passion project designed for teachers, homeschooling parents, or anyone who loves to teach art. It’s not just a collection of activities; it’s a curriculum of exploration.
